Quote: Wow, only 1 reply the whole day, I guess not much really has been happening over the last month.
No new exploits I should be worried about, or bugs?
What about that problem when attacking npc pirates next to a gate where the guns will destroy you even though you didn't hit the gate or anything. Is it safe to do that now?
I think the reason people are not posting is that, sadly, very very little has changed in the game in the last month. There's 4 new BPs in game you can get from agents, PvP continues to increase in both interest and activity level and "merger mania" has hit EVE massively, as people give up on inactive corps and/or consolidate into larger organziations for security and/or more support.
In a month there's been maybe 1 patch, which fixed some stuff, and broke a few others. Despite urgent need for some massive changes to address lag, some nagging balance isses (fix my 425s darnit!) a bug that means you can drop stuff in a corp mate's hanger anymore and other biggies, we're still waiting on the next patch, yet again is so long in coming it will be huge with unpredicatable results and likely in need of a hotfix and 2 more quick re-patches if our recent experiences are any indication. Quick answer to your sentry gun/security response quesiton is "pot luck". Sometimes you're fine. Occasionally you get killed. Most players who are cautious no longer bother to shoot gate rats in Empire space. This is also the answer to other aspects of security status, such as whether an unlawful attack in 0.5 Empire will unlease the police on the offender or not...
Oh and many PC rats are camping jump-in points now in order to make sure they get you. Best defense is to set your AP to the next system from your destinaiton, and turn off AP if/when you load succcessfully in the destination system.
Oh, and if they weren't when you left, implants are in. But the 300 agent missions you have to do to get them are just as boring as before.
